![]() Strawberry Fields Forever is the best Beatles song in their entire catalog, in my opinion.I never considered it to be the best album per se, but I have a high regard for the aggregate quality of its individual songs. So, those are some reasons I love the White Album in all its shaggy, overstuffed, ridiculous glory. It rocks and it tumbles and it just slays. The heaviest thing most people had heard in 1968 this song still can make the more delicate among us uncomfortable. Paul also goes toe to toe in the pretty song department with I Will, Mother Nature's Son, BlackbirdĪnd then, in my opinion, Paul wins the album with Helter Skelter. Paul provides the radio jams on this one: Back in the USSR, Ob-La-Di There's so much room Ringo even gets his first composition Don't Pass Me By. The John songs (Dear Prudence, Happiness., I'm So Tired, Julia) are these perfect little pop songs. There is a George song on each side of this double LP (more George is always a plus for me) I dunno about in here, but personally, I find the White Album to be a smorgasbord of Beatley goodness. It also has Magical Mystery Tour (the song) and The Fool on the Hill- To sum it up, I love every single song in that album.ĭear Reddit, what is your opinion about the album? Favorite songs? Also, what other albums would you recommend me to hear (that I might like even better)? It has Hello, Goodbye and All you Need is Love which are both classic songs (among their most famous). It has I am the Walrus, Penny lane and Strawberry Fields Forever, which will all probably be in my top 5 Beatles songs. Kite the most notable examples in my opinion.īut, I think that Magical Mystery Tour is just as good as those albums, if not better. The rest of the songs are pretty darn great too- With a Little Help From My Friends, Lucy in the Sky and Mr. ![]() Pepper has, of course, A Day in The Life, which without a doubt is one of the best songs of all time, and is enough to make it a fantasic album. The rest of the songs there are simply good (especially She Said She Said). Pepper completely- Revolver has Eleanor Rigby, which is fantastic, and Tomorrow Never Knows, which is definitely a unique song, but one that causes me a bit of nausea to listen to. I listened to the albums MMT, Revolver and Sgt. I listened to a lot of the more popular songs, and after thinking about it for a while, one thing came up in my mind. So, I started to listen to The Beatles seriously a few weeks ago.
